Mitzi Flores

I am a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and mother of two girls. After spending 10 years as a childcare provider and experiencing postpartum with my two children, I recognized a need for more specialized support to families through the postpartum period.

I enjoy empowering parents to feel confident as they navigate their recovery from birth and learn how to best meet the needs of their babies and themselves. I am experienced in caring for newborn twins and helping an older sibling(s) adjust to life with a new baby. I have a calming presence and easily adapt to the changing needs of life with a newborn. Because I hold both postpartum doula and newborn care specialist certifications, I’m uniquely qualified to recognize the needs of both the postpartum mother and newborn and to answer any questions you have about your new baby or your recovery from pregnancy and birth as you adjust to your postpartum period.

I completed my training with Newborn Care Solutions as a newborn care specialist and CAPPA as a postpartum doula. My services include both daytime or overnight support, depending on the needs of the family. I am fluent in Spanish. I enjoy playing games with your toddler or preparing a meal while you rest.
